How in the world did you come up with that name?
The name actually has multiple meanings and was derived from our various outdoors and hunting experiences. We have always loved everything outdoors. bowfishing but a few years back we got addicted, set up a boat, began shooting tournaments and virtually every other chance we could. Whale-Tales Archery should make you think of a whale sized carp. Chat bowfishing with us or if you’ve never done it, we’ll try and take you out one night and pass on the addiction.
We have always had a passion for western hunting. As we monitored the elk heards we would field judge the bulls, looking at the back half of the antler we would decide how the bull “finished.” If he “finished” well his antlers grew a deep fork in between the last two tines resembling a fish tail, which elk hunting slang deemed a Whale Tail.
And Lastly we didn’t miss-spell “tails.” Hunters and Fisherman have been known through out time as telling the biggest and most fascinating stories. So swing on by the archery shop, shoot your bow, grab a beverage, and tell us some of your own Whale-Tales.
